Recovery specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at St. David Catholic Church, 2334 Tenbrook Road, in Arnold from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, FEMA has announced.

Members of Disaster Survivor Assistance teams will help those affected by the March 14 tornado register for assistance.

Federal assistance is only available for individuals and business owners in Jefferson County. The county did not qualify for assistance to local governments and qualifying nonprofit organizations.

FEMA recovery specialists coming to Arnold on Wednesday, Friday

Individual assistance allows eligible residents and business owners to seek federal assistance with temporary housing, housing repairs, replacement of damaged belongings, vehicles and other qualifying expenses.

Those seeking assistance will need to provide their address with ZIP code, condition of damaged property, available insurance information, Social Security number, phone number, address to receive mail and email address.

Jefferson County residents also may apply for aid by going to disasterassistance.gov, calling 1-800-621-3362 or downloading the FEMA app to register.
