There’s only a little time left to get your entry in for the Leader Family Holiday Album photo contest. The deadline to submit photos for the contest is 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Jefferson County and Eureka readers are encouraged to send photos of themselves and their family members and friends celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or any other winter holiday.
All eligible submissions will be entered in a random drawing for a $200 cash prize.
As many photos as space permits will run in the Dec. 22 edition of the paper.
There is a limit of three photos per reader. Photos may be recent or from long ago and may feature family members living or dead. Studio photos are discouraged but will be accepted and run on a space-available basis.
Readers who participated in the past are welcome to do so again, but please send different photographs. Submissions must include the following information to be eligible for publication:
■ Your name and address.
■ Your daytime phone number.
■ When and where the photo was taken and who took it.
■ Names of all people in the photo and how they are related to you.
If the photo illustrates a special family moment, please tell us about that, too.
Email entries to news@leaderpublications.biz or drop them off at the Leader office, 503 N. Second St., in Festus. Photos will be returned by mail if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is included; the rest will be held for pickup.
