Those who won City Council municipal elections early this month were sworn in April 22. Those sworn in during the City Council meeting included Hanley Cherry, re-elected as city treasurer; David Picarella, re-elected as Ward 4 councilman; Taylor Massa, elected Ward 3 councilwoman; Tony Becker, re-elected as Ward 2 councilman; and Jered Farmer, elected as Ward 4 councilman. Farmer won election for a one-year term to the seat he has held since he was appointed to fill it after Kenny Duncan’s death.
Ward 1 Councilman Jack Ginnever, who also won re-election on April 2, did not attend the meeting. All the candidates won uncontested races.
