Those passing by First United Methodist Church of Festus-Crystal City today (Sept. 15) could not help but notice the giant crane outside being used to replace the roof on part of the building, 113 Grand Ave., Festus. Only the tower part of the church, which is above the main entrance, is getting a new roof, said a worker for Lakeside Roofing Co., which installed the roof. He said the job was a one-day project.
