Organizers are seeking sponsors and participants for the fifth annual Fox Trot, a 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at Arnold City Park on Bradley Beach Road off Jeffco Boulevard near the Meramec River. The 5K will start at 9 a.m. and the fun run/walk at 10 a.m.
It costs $25 to register for the 5K and $10 for the fun run/walk. Proceeds will benefit the C-6 Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides educational and welfare grants to assist students throughout the Fox C-6 School District.
The overall male and female 5K winners each will receive a $100 cash prize and trophy. The top three finishers in each 5K category will receive a medal. All fun run/walk participants will receive a medal.
Both 5K and fun run/walk entrants will receive shirts, goodie bags, water and snacks. Entertainment will be included.
The C-6 school that has the most students, staff and family members register for the event will receive a $500 educational grant.

The Arnold Tourism Commission is a co-sponsor for the event, and Mercy Health is another major sponsor. More sponsors are being sought.
