Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing on Mill Street near North Fifth Street in Festus is scheduled to be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday (Oct. 18).
“BNSF is making a repair,” said Matt Unrein, the city’s Public Works director. “There will be detours posted.”
The closure was supposed to be today (Oct. 15), but after some work began this morning (Oct. 15), but because of the wet weather, the crossing was reopened and the project was delayed to Monday, Unrein said.
