Arnold offers home visit from Easter bunny

The Arnold Parks and Recreation Department is delivering the Easter bunny to your doorstep.

The department is offering the Arnold Cotton Tail Express for the first time this year to provide a 10-minute visit with the Easter bunny at city homes.

“We are always looking for new and fun events to bring to our community,” Ajsa Hukic, parks and rec deputy director, said. “We were trying to create an event that was not only convenient but more intimate and personalized experience for families.”

A visits costs $10, and the registration deadline is Friday, March 15, or until reservations are full. Hukic said 10 visits had been scheduled as of March 7.

To schedule a visit, call Hukic at 636-282-6648.

On Saturday, March 23, the bunny will visit homes in the city’s Ward 1 from 8-10 a.m., Ward 2 from 10 a.m. to noon, Ward 3 from noon to 2 p.m. and Ward 4 from 2-4 p.m. The bunny will pose for pictures on the home’s front lawn or driveway.

Families will need to take pictures with their camera.

“Who wouldn’t want a personal home visit from the Easter bunny himself,” Hukic said. “We are helping create those unforgettable memories for families, offering a unique immersive experience with personalized interactions, photo opportunities and the convenience of enjoying the festivities in the comfort of your own home. It is also a great way to support the parks and recreation department.”
