A 4-year-old boy, a 6-year-old boy and a woman, all from Valles Mines, were pronounced dead following a crash on Christmas Eve south of Farmington, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:28 p.m., the woman, 28, was driving a 2004 Ford F150 north on Hwy. OO south of Hwy. F, when it traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree, the report said.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene by the St. Francois County coroner at 9:45 p.m., who transported her to Coplin Funeral Home, the report said. The children were also pronounced dead.
According to the report, the woman and the children were all wearing seat belts, and the vehicle was totaled.
