Two men, one from Hillsboro, were hurt in a two-vehicle accident Saturday evening (May 16) on Hwy. 21 and Hwy. 110 just north of De Soto.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Robert Cunningham, 56, of Florissant, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer south on Hwy. 21 and John Wilson, 57, of Hillsboro was driving a 2012 Subaru Outback north on Hwy. 21 at 8:05 p.m. when Cunningham reportedly failed to yield and the front of the Subaru struck the right side of the Ford, the report said.
Wilson sustained moderate injuries and Cunningham minor injuries; both were taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South, the report said.
Updates on their conditions were not available.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the report said. Both vehicles were totaled.
