Two Dittmer women died Monday night, Feb. 5, in a crash on Hwy. 30 at Gravois Road in northwestern Jefferson County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:10 p.m., Nancy L. Callaway, 64, was driving west in a 2014 Jeep Patriot when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting Callaway and a passenger, Lindsay M. Matney, 42, the report said.
According to the report, emergency personnel pronounced Callaway dead on the scene at 6:33 p.m., and medical staff pronounced Matney dead at Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County at 7:19 p.m.
Both were taken by Superior Mortuary Service to St. Louis County Morgue, the report said.
Neither Callaway nor Matney were wearing seat belts, the report said, and the Jeep was totaled.
