Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle traffic accident Saturday afternoon (June 22) on Hwy. F in the Pacific area of Jefferson County, just east of the Franklin County line.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Edward Brown, 16, of Pacific, was driving a 1990 Honda Accord north on Hwy. F south of Tanglewood Drive at 12:30 p.m. when he crossed the center line and struck head-on a 2007 Honda Pilot driven by Sarah Latta, 50 of Fults, Ill.
Both drivers sustained moderate injuries and a passenger in the Pilot, James Magill, 48, of Pacific, sustained minor injuries. All were taken by Meramec Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, the report said.
Updates on their conditions were not available.
All involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the report said. Both cars were totaled.
