Terry L. Cameron, 46, of Hillsboro was injured Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28, in a two-car accident at Metropolitan Boulevard and Monticello Drive in Barnhart, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:50 p.m., Karen L. Scott, 63, of Cedar Hill was driving an eastbound 2006 Toyota Camry and had stopped at a stop sign on Monticello Drive before trying to turn left onto northbound Metropolitan Boulevard and pulling into the path of a southbound 2005 Toyota Corolla driven by Cameron. The front of the Corolla struck the left side of the Camry, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Scott. However, Cameron was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Merch Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two cars were extensively damaged, the report said.
