A St. Louis woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon, April 28, at Hwy. 30 and Windcrest Drive near Scotsdale between Cedar Hill and House Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 2:33 p.m., Tiffany N. Spencer, 46, of St. Louis was driving north in a 2011 Ford Escape and pulled into the path of a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, and the front of the Traverse struck the right side of the Escape, the report said.

Katie P. Williams, 35, of Cedar Hill was driving the Traverse. No injuries were reported for her.

Spencer, however, was taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in satisfactory condition on Friday afternoon, April 29, a hospital spokesman said.

According to the report, Spencer was not wearing a seat belt, and Williams was wearing one.

Both vehicles were totaled, the patrol reported.
