A St. Louis woman was injured Thursday morning, Oct. 10, in a crash on Hwy. 30 at Little Brennan Road in Murphy, an unincorporated area outside Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 7:33 a.m., Jeffery A. Yates, 51, of Valmeyer, Ill., was driving a westbound 2019 International box truck on Hwy. 30 and reportedly failed to stop at a red light, striking a 2019 Honda Civic driven on southbound Little Brennan Road by Kandra S. Morgan, 49. The box truck crossed the median and struck an eastbound 2004 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Kerry F. Allen, 41, of Fenton, the report said.
Morgan was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
Morgan was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
According to the report, all three drivers were wearing seat belts, the Honda was totaled, the box truck was moderately damaged, and the Chevrolet had minor damage.
