A St. Louis man was seriously hurt Wednesday night (June 17) in an apparent motorcycle wreck at Saline Road and Lakeview Ridge Drive in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
When highway patrol troopers responded to a report about the accident, which occurred about 9:50 p.m., Daniel J. Klueg, 56, of St. Louis reportedly told them he was a passenger on the bike but would not provide other details about who the driver was or how the accident occurred, Cpl. Juston Wheetley said.
The motorcycle was already removed from the scene of the accident, the patrol reported.
Wheetley said today (June 19) that no one has been cited or charged in connection with the accident, which is under investigation.
Klueg was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was listed in good condition today, a hospital spokesperson said.
It is unknown if he was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
