A 19-year-old St. Louis man died Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 9) in a one-car crash at Old 21 and Hwy. M in Otto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Emir M. Taranin, driver of a 2013 Honda Civic, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 3:48 p.m. accident, the patrol reported.
The report said Taranin’s southbound car traveled off the left side of old Hwy. 21, over the westbound lanes of Hwy. M, and struck a rock bluff. Personnel with Rock Township Ambulance District, assisted by troopers, pronounced Taranin dead at 3:55 p.m.
The report said Taranin was not wearing a seat belt.
The car was totaled.
