A House Springs woman and a Hillsboro woman were injured Friday morning, Oct. 20, in a two-car accident on Goldman Spur Road east of Old Hwy. 21 north of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:36 a.m., Shannon R. Hughes, 42, of House Springs was driving an eastbound 2011 Ford Fusion and reportedly crossed the center of the road and struck a westbound 2006 Mazda 6 driven by Dominee L. Foster, 39, of Hillsboro, the report said.
Both women were moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Foster was wearing a seat belt, and Hughes was not wearing one, the patrol reported.
Both cars were totaled, the report said.
