A Pevely motorcyclist was hurt Saturday afternoon (Nov. 6) on Hwy. N in the area west of Pacific in Franklin County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Erik Olson, 33, was riding a 2016 Yamaha motorcycle west on Hwy. N east of Young Road at 2 p.m. when he rode too fast over a crest of a hill, lost control of the motorcycle and rode off the right side of the road before it overturned.
Olson suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Meramec Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Olson was wearing a state-approved safety helmet, the report said; the motorcycle had moderate damage.
