A Pevely man and a Hillsboro man were injured Jan. 27 at Hwy. 110 and McMillen Road north of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 4:24 p.m., Andrew W. Raker, 40, of Pevely was driving a 2009 Pontiac G6 east on the highway and failed to notice vehicles were stopped ahead for a school bus that also was stopped, and the front of the car struck the rear of an eastbound 2019 Chevrolet Colorado, which was pushed forward and struck the back of a 2018 Toyota Tacoma, the report said.

Hal K. Fielder, 64, of Hillsboro was driving the Colorado, and Jamie J. Ramsey, 37, of Festus was driving the Tacoma.

No injuries were reported for Ramsey. However, Raker was moderately injured, and Fielder had minor injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City – Raker by Valle Ambulance and Fielder by private conveyance, the report said.

Raker was treated and released, but the hospital had no information about Fielder, a Mercy spokesman said.

All the drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.

The G6 was totaled, and the Colorado and Tacoma were moderately damaged.
