Nicholas J. Indelicato, 37, of Pacific died after being thrown from a scooter he was riding early Monday (June 18) in Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At about 3 a.m., Indelicato was riding a 2018 Taizhou scooter east on Hogan Road near Grandview Lane just north of I-44 in the Gray Summit area where it ran off the south side of the road, overturned and ejected him, the report said.
Meramec Ambulance personnel pronounced Indelicato dead at the scene at 3:20 a.m., the report said.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol did not report whether Indelicato was wearing a helmet since scooter riders are exempt from that requirement.
The scooter had minor damage, the report said.
