Nicholas R. Campbell, 35, of Fenton was killed Saturday evening, April 27, in a motorcycle crash on Dutch Bottom Road east of Christopher Drive west of Arnold, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:45 p.m., Campbell was riding a westbound 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special and failed to negotiate a curve before the motorcycle ran off the road, struck a boulder and went airborne down an embankment, where it struck the ground, the report said.
Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged, the report said.
