A House Springs man was injured Wednesday morning, Sept. 20, in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. N and Duello Road between Wentzville and Lake St. Louis in St. Charles County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:55 a.m., Nathan Suedkamp, 25, of House Springs was driving a southbound 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and reportedly got distracted by a navigation device and ran a stop sign, and the pickup struck an eastbound 2023 Hyundai Palisade driven by James F. Holladay, 60, of Wright City. Then, the Silverado overturned, and the Palisade ran off the right side of the road, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Holladay, but Suedkamp was moderately injured and taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, according to the report.
However, the hospital had no information about Suedkamp, a Mercy spokeswoman said.
According to the report, Holladay was wearing a seat belt, and Suedkamp was not.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged, the report said.
