Nancy W. Meyer, 80, of High Ridge was seriously injured Thursday, June 15, in a one-car accident on Old Sugar Creek Road north of Hunning Road east of High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At noon, she was driving a southbound 2022 Nissan Altima and fell asleep, and the car ran off the right side of the road, where it struck a ditch, the report said.
Meyer was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in satisfactory condition today, June 16, a hospital spokesman said.
No information about her condition was available.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
