Misty D. Leigh, 46, of Fenton was seriously injured this morning, Aug. 3, in a one-car accident at Hwy. 141 and High View Drive in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:45 a.m., Leigh was driving a northbound 2007 Honda Civic and ran off the right side of the road, where the car struck a rock wall and overturned onto its roof, the report said.
She was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, according to the report.
Leigh was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
