A Mineral Point man was seriously injured Thursday morning (Nov. 11) in a one-vehicle accident at 14465 Hwy. 21 southwest of De Soto in Jefferson County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:27 a.m., Zachary W. Price, 22, of Mineral Point was driving a 2008 Ford Super Duty pickup north on the highway and ran off the left side of the road, where the front of the pickup struck a tree, and then the truck overturned and struck another tree, the report said.
Price was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.
He was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
