A House Springs man was injured Thursday afternoon, June 29, when he was standing outside a pickup that began rolling and struck him. The accident occurred at 14560 Timmy Court in St. Genevieve County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:15 p.m., Michael L. Clementz, 46, of House Springs was standing behind the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, which rolled backward and downhill and hit him. No driver was inside the truck at the time, the report said.
Clementz was moderately injured and taken by Air Evac helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, according to the report.
No information about his condition was available today, July 1.
The pickup was moderately damaged, the patrol reported.
