Matthew L. Messmer, 49, of Arnold was injured Monday night, July 10, when he crashed the scooter he was riding at Hwy. 61-67 and Holly Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:30 p.m., he was riding a southbound 2018 Wolf EX150 and lost control, and the scooter overturned, the report said.
Messmer was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was listed in good condition today, July 13, a hospital spokesman said.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The scooter was totaled, the report said.
