Matthew J. Clark, 37, of Cedar Hill was injured Friday evening, Aug. 11, in a motorcycle crash on Hwy. Y near Ware Church Road in Ware, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:34 p.m., Clark was riding a northbound 2015 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the left side of the road, where the motorcycle overturned, ejecting him, the patrol reported.
He was moderately injured and taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, according to the report.
He was not wearing a helmet, or at least not a Department of Transportation-approved one, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged, the report said.
