An 82-year-old Fenton woman and a 22-year-old Kirkwood man were injured Monday evening, Oct. 23, in a two-car crash at Gravois Road and Valley Dell Drive in the Murphy area in unincorporated Jefferson County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5 p.m., Mary E. Waller, driving an eastbound 2014 Nissan Versa, allegedly ran a stop sign and struck the right side of a southbound 2012 Hyundai Sonata driven by Jakobee I. Molett, the report said.
Waller was moderately injured and Molett sustained minor injuries, and both were taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Versa was totaled, and the Sonata was moderately damaged, the report said.
