The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a House Springs man was injured in a one-vehicle roll-over accident Wednesday night (Sept. 30) in High Ridge.
Randall R. Garland, 26, was a passenger in a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Kodey A. Stricklan, 22, Imperial.
According to the report, about 8 p.m. Stricklan was driving south on John Swaller Road at Hackberry Court when the Silverado skidded off the left side of the road while rounding a curve to the right. Stricklan reportedly overcorrected to the right and returned to the roadway, but the truck skidded across the road and overturned on the right side of the rod.
Garland was taken by car to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries. A hospital spokesman today (Oct. 2) said Garland was in good condition at the hospital.
The report made no mention of an injury to Stricklan.
Garland was wearing a seatbelt while the report indicated that it’s not known whether Stricklan was. The Silverado was totaled, according to the report.
