Lisa L. Sulin, 48, of Imperial was hurt Friday morning (March 8) in a one-vehicle accident on I-55 north of Hwy. A in the Festus area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:10 a.m., Sulin was driving a 2015 GMC Terrain south on I-55 and lost control of the SUV due to wet road conditions, and the vehicle ran off the right side on the interstate, where it struck a culvert and a highway sign and then overturned, the report said.
Sulin was moderately hurt and taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, the report said.
