Matthew J. Usery, 24, of Imperial was injured Wednesday evening, April 20, on Hwy. 61-67 north of Falcon Drive in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:25 p.m., Usery was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu south on the highway and lost control of the car, which ran off the right side of the road where it struck an embankment and overturned, the report said.
Usery was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
He was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Malibu was totaled, the report said.
