A House Springs woman and an Imperial man were hurt Tuesday morning (Nov. 27) in a three-vehicle accident at Hwy. 30 and Little Brennan Road in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:15 a.m., a 47-year-old House Springs woman was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier west on Hwy. 30, failed to stop at a traffic signal, and the car struck a pickup that was turning left from eastbound Hwy. 30 to northbound Little Brennan Road. Then, the pickup struck a bus that also was turning left from eastbound Hwy. 30 to northbound Little Brennan Road, the report said.
Andres M. Diaz, 28, of Imperial was driving the pickup, a 2009 Ford F-150, and Lauren A. Hachworth, 38, of House Springs was driving the 2008 International 3000 bus.
No injuries were reported for Hachworth.
However, the 47-year-old House Springs woman was seriously hurt and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony’s Medical Center) in south St. Louis County.
Diaz was moderately injured and taken by private conveyance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, the report said.
The 47-year-old House Springs woman was not wearing a seat belt, and neither was Diaz. Hachworth was wearing one, the patrol reported.
The Cavalier and pickup were totaled, and the bus was moderately damaged, the report said.
