A House Springs man was seriously injured in a single-car accident early Sunday morning (Sept. 27) on I-44 east of Lewis Road in the Eureka area of west St. Louis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Brandon Douglas, 33, was driving a 2007 Honda Civic west on I-44 at 2:40 a.m. when he drove off the right side of the road and into a ditch, where the Honda overturned.
Douglas sustained serious injuries and was taken by Eureka Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Douglas was wearing a seat belt, the report said. The car was totaled.
