A House Springs man and a High Ridge woman were injured Friday afternoon (April 16) in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 30 and Dillon Road in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:35 p.m., Trenton R. Hochturn, 22, of House Springs was driving a westbound 2005 Honda Civic and allegedly ran a red light, and the car struck the left side of a southbound 2018 Ford Escape driven by Judy A. Hawkins, 71, of High Ridge, the report said.
Both drivers were moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to area hospitals – Hochturn to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton and Hawkins to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Hochturn was not wearing a seat belt, and Hawkins was wearing one, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
