A 16-year-old boy from Hillsboro was injured in a crash on Goldman Road south of Hickory Lane, northeast of Hillsboro, Wednesday, April 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:54 a.m., a 17-year-old male from De Soto was driving a northbound 2014 Buick Regal when he lost control of the car and it traveled off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned, ejecting the 16-year-old passenger, the report said.
The 16-year-old was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, the report said.
According to the report, the injured passenger was not wearing a seat belt, and the driver was.
The Buick was totaled the report said.
Because the teenagers are juveniles, the Patrol did not release their names.
