A 33-year-old Hillsboro man is in critical condition after being ejected from a motorcycle early Thursday, Feb. 16, at Hwy. Y and Bogart Springs Road west of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:32 a.m., Zachary M. Waddington was riding a northbound 2018 Harley-Davidson Street Glide when he traveled off the left side of the road, struck a culvert and was ejected, the report said.
Waddington was seriously injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur where he was listed in critical condition at noon today, Feb. 16, a hospital spokeswoman said.
According to the report, Waddington was wearing a helmet, and the motorcycle was totaled.
