A High Ridge woman and a Gray Summit man were seriously injured Tuesday (Nov. 23) in a two-car accident at Hwy. 30 and Carol Park Road in House Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:20 p.m., Billy Roam, 72, of Gray Summit was driving a northbound 2011 Chevrolet Malibu and while merging onto westbound Hwy. 30 from Carol Park Road, he came to a stop in Lane 1, where the front of an eastbound 2010 Nissan Versa driven by Alicia R. Hembree, 41, of High Ridge struck the left side of the Malibu, the report said.
Both were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
The two drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
Both cars were totaled, the report said.
