A High Ridge woman was killed in a single-car accident early Sunday afternoon (July 9) on Hwy. 141 near the Gravois Bluffs Shopping Center in Fenton.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Jessica Ingrassia, 26, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord north on Hwy. 141 south of Gravois Bluffs Boulevard before 4:45 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve to the left, and her car went off the road, where it struck a sign and light support.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:45 a.m. by EMS personnel, the report said. The Fenton Fire Protection District and St. Louis County Police Department responded to the scene of the accident along with the Highway Patrol, the report said.
She was not wearing a seat belt, the report said. The Honda was totaled.
