A 35-year-old High Ridge woman was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following a one-car accident early Thursday morning (Nov. 3) on Hwy. 30 at Valley Dell Drive in the Fenton area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
She sustained moderate injuries and was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in serious condition Thursday afternoon, a hospital spokesman said.
At 2:24 a.m., the woman was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Impala east on Hwy. 30, and the car ran off the left side of the road, where it struck a concrete post that’s part of a guardrail, the report said.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested the woman for the alleged DWI at the hospital, according to the report.
