A High Ridge teenager was injured Thursday afternoon, July 25, in a two-vehicle crash on Little Brennan Road at Brennan Woods Court in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:55 p.m., a 16-year-old High Ridge boy was driving a 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan east on Little Brennan Road when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the centerline and struck a westbound 2017 Ford F-550 driven by Christopher Andino, 21, of St. Louis. The Volkswagen then traveled off the road and went into a ditch, the report said.
The teen sustained minor injuries and was taken by private conveyance to Children’s Hospital at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County, the report said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and both vehicles had extensive damage, the patrol reported.
