Phillip M. Queen, 50, of High Ridge and David L. Queen, 48, of St. Louis were both seriously injured Monday morning (Dec. 17) in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 30 east of Cedar Hill Road in Cedar Hill, the report said.
At 10 a.m., Phillip Queen was driving a 1986 Ford F-150 west on Hwy. 30, and the pickup traveled into the median and then crossed the eastbound lanes before striking a guardrail, the report said.
He was airlifted by Survival Flight helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, and David Queen, a passenger in the pickup, was taken by Big River Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, the report said.
Phillip Queen was listed in satisfactory condition Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 19), a Mercy spokeswoman said.
However, St. Anthony's had no information about David Queen, a hospital spokesman said.
Neither man was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
