A 22-year-old High Ridge man was hurt Saturday afternoon (June 6) in a motorcycle accident on Hwy. 30 at High Ridge Boulevard in the High Ridge area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:02 p.m., Alexander Johnson, 22, was reportedly riding a 2006 Honda CBR 6000 west on Hwy. 30 in a careless and imprudent manner and the front of the motorcycle hit the rear of westbound 2011 Cadillac SXR, the report said.
Irene Werntz, 82, of High Ridge was driving the 2011 Cadillac SXR.
Johnson sustained serious injuries and was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.
An update on his condition was not available.
The report made no mention of an injury to Werntz.
Werntz was wearing a seat belt and Johnson was wearing a safety helmet, the patrol reported.
The Cadillac had moderate damage and the motorcycle was totaled, the report said.
