Gregory A. Mraz, 58, of High Ridge was injured Thursday morning (Aug. 5) in a crash involving two motorcycles on I-70 at the 198 mile marker in Warren County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 9:10 a.m., Mraz was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King 2 west on the interstate and struck tire tread in the road, and while beginning to overturn, the motorcycle struck the rear of another westbound bike, and Mraz was ejected from his, the report said.

Michael R. Bertolini, 61, of St. Louis was riding the second motorcycle – a 2010 Harley-Davidson Road King.

No injuries were reported for Bertolini, but Mraz was moderately injured and taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake St. Louis, the report said.

Both men were wearing helmets, the patrol reported.

The 2003 Harley was extensively damaged, and the other one had minor damage.
