A 7-year-old High Ridge boy was injured Monday morning (Oct. 29) in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of highways NN and 30 in Cedar Hill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:19 a.m., Samantha R. Wagner, 30, of High Ridge was driving a southbound 2015 Kia Sorento and had stopped at a light before Brian D. Schumacher, 40, of Cedar Hill, driving a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Express, began backing up, and the rear of the Express hit the side of the Sorento, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Wagner and Schumacher. However, a passenger in the Sorento – Nathan Wagner, 7, of High Ridge – was moderately injured.
He was taken by private conveyance to an urgent care center, the report said.
All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts or using safety devices, the patrol said.
The Sorento was moderately damaged, and the Express had minor damage, the report said.
