Linda L. Cremer, 69, of Festus was hurt Monday afternoon (Feb. 29) when she was thrown off an ATV in St. Joe State Park in St. Francois County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 12:20 p.m., Cremer was a passenger on a 2014 Polaris Sportsman 550 driven by Frederick P. Cremer, 66, of Festus, and while he was in the 2000 block of Pimville Road attempting to climb a rock with the ATV, it overturned, ejecting both of them, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Frederick Cremer, but Linda Cremer sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon (March 1).
Both the Cremers were wearing helmets, the patrol reported.
The ATV sustained minor damage, the report said.
