Tucker J. Uding, 18, of Festus was injured Wednesday, Sept. 21, in a motorcycle accident on Hwy. A east of Highland Baptist Church Road between Hillsboro and Mapaville, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:58 a.m., Uding was riding a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle east on the highway and began to slide on wet pavement, crossed the double-yellow center line, partially overturned and slid across the westbound lane off the left side of the road where he was ejected, the report said.
Uding was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
According to the report, Uding was wearing a helmet, and the vehicle was moderately damaged.
