Jamie M. Lockwood, 28, of Festus was hurt in a one-car accident Thursday night (May 28) on Hwy. 67 south of Flucom Road in the De Soto area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:48 p.m., Lockwood was driving a 1998 Chrysler Sebring south on Hwy. 67 and the car ran off the right side of the road where it struck a guard rail before returning to the road and then running off the left side of the road where it struck two cable support posts and overturned, the report said.
Lockwood sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said this afternoon (May 29).
Lockwood was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Sebring was totaled, the report said.
