A Festus man was injured early this morning (Sept. 10) when the motorcycle he was riding hit a deer on Old Hwy. A east of Washington Court in Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:33 a.m., Kevin G. Dangos, 54, was riding a 2011 Harley-Davidson east on the highway, where the bike overturned after striking a deer, the report said.
He was transported by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City and then transferred to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.
Dangos was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle had minor damage and was towed away from the scene, the report said.
