accident patrol patch

A Fenton woman was hurt in a two-vehicle accident Friday evening (Sept. 30) on I-44 in Crestwood in southwest St. Louis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Jessica Bouck, 30, of Fenton was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt east on I-44 west of Big Bend Boulevard at 8:30 p.m. when she failed to maintain control of her car and drove off the left edge of the road, striking the center concrete median and re-entering the driving lanes, where her car was struck on the right front corner by an eastbound 2003 GMC Sonoma driven by Luke Flagg, 43, Pocahontas, Ill.

Flagg was not hurt in the crash but Bouck sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Abbott Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, the report said.

She was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.

Bouck was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident but Flagg was, the report said. The Cobalt had moderate damage while the Sonoma was damaged extensively, according to the report.
